About the Ensemble

The Euterpean Consort was founded in 2005 for the express purpose of performing, creating and disseminating quality chamber music.  Members of the group include wind and keyboard artists from the front range and North Eastern Colorado.  Consort members have performed with the Brighton Euterpean Society, a non-profit organization dedicated to making music accessible to members of the Brighton community, and have shared their talents with the Brighton Music choir and orchestra and sponsored programs for the Inglenook Retirement Center and Knights of Columbus council 3285.  Repertoire includes flute quartet works by Chris Potter, Catherine McMichael and Ricky Lombardo, flute duos with piano by Doppler and Kuhlau and solo selections ranging from Copland to Reinecke.
